Hugo de Beaubien Out in the Community
Hugo de Beaubien worked as a volunteer with fellow Kiwanians at the 53rd annual Kiwanis Kumquat Bowl, securing the admissions gate and selling delicious grilled items from the snack bar. Twenty-four top Pop Warner youth teams competed over 2 days at Bishop Moore High School in 12 games for the title of league champion in the Central Florida area in their respective size and age categories. David Simmons presented to the Business Law Committee of the Orange County Bar Association recently in a panel discussion regarding the Business Court’s closure and the judicial funding problem. David concluded the roundtable session with a Chinese proverb; “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
