Brandon Sapp is an Associate Attorney in the Orlando office. Brandon was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL and received both his undergraduate and law degree from the University of Florida. While attending the University of Florida College of Law, he had the pleasure of serving as the President of the Black Law Students Association. Brandon’s interest in campus involvement did not end there, as he later served as President of the Law College Council. After law school, Brandon moved to Orlando and became an attorney at the Law Offices of Robert Wesley, Public Defender of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. While there, he represented indigent clients, litigated cases, and tried over 20 jury trial on a wide range of offenses ranging from misdemeanors to capital felonies. After settling into his position at the Public Defender’s office, Brandon became involved in the legal community. Brandon currently serves as a Board Member of the Legal Aid Society of Orange County Board of Trustees, Co-Chair from for the Big Bad Wolf Trials for the Orange County Bar Association Law Week program, the immediate Past-President of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association, 9th Circuit Board of Governor of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, as well as President-Elect of the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar Association. Due to his diligent commitment to involvement in the legal community and work for his clients, Brandon was chosen as a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2018 and 2019 and a Florida Trend Legal Elite “Up and Comer” in 2019.
