p> Lyneda Shorter is a native of Orlando, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Communications from Howard University. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Lyneda is a former Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant State Attorney, she prosecuted misdemeanor, juvenile and felony offenses. She is also a former Senior Attorney with the Florida Department of Children and Families where she handled dependency cases.
