Ms. Sanchez de Fuentas began her legal career servicing local government clients as an Assistant County Attorney for Osceola County. For almost a decade she served in that capacity advising the Board of County Commissioners, the County Manager, and various County department heads and staff on a wide variety of legal matters, with a concentration on labor and employment law. After leaving Osceola County she joined Seminole County as an Assistant County Attorney where she continued her local government practice providing legal assistance in the areas of Human Resources, Risk Management, Community Services and Community Development.

In 2014, Ms. Sanchez de Fuentas was appointed the Deputy City Attorney for the City of Kissimmee. In 2017, Ms. Sanchez de Fuentas earned Board Certification by the Florida Bar Association as a specialist in City, County, and Local Government Law. Ms. Sanchez de Fuentas managed the City Attorney’s Office serving as Chief Legal advisor from 2019 until February 2026.
