Viviana Mendiola is an attorney licensed to practice law in Florida and Puerto Rico with more than 8 years of experience as a practicing attorney. Her background includes immigration law, real estate law, client counseling, legal research, and advocacy before administrative agencies and courts.
Prior to joining DSK Law, Ms. Mendiola served as a Staff Attorney with Church World Service, where she represented clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Her practice included removal defense, family-based immigration matters, humanitarian relief applications, and related legal proceedings.
Ms. Mendiola previously served as Pro Bono Director for Cuban-American Bar Association Pro Bono Legal Services, where she coordinated attorney training initiatives and provided direct legal representation in immigration and family law matters.
Ms. Mendiola earned an LL.M. in Real Property Development from the University of Miami School of Law and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and English from Florida International University.
Licensed in both Florida and Puerto Rico, Ms. Mendiola brings familiarity with the legal communities and cultures of both jurisdictions. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, and attending cultural events.
