Darrell Garvey

Darrell Garvey was born in Tallahassee, Florida and attended high school and college in New York State.He attended the State University of New York at Maritime College where he played ice hockey and was a member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers.Darrell received a Bachelor of Engineeringdegree in Ocean Engineering.  Hespent seven years as a nuclear engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding Company. He left NNS to attend law school at the College of William & Mary, Marshall Wythe School of Law where he was a member of Phi Delta Phi and an editor of the Bill of Rights Journal.Darrell was admitted to the Florida Bar in1992.In 2011, Darrell had the opportunity to strike out on his own with a partner where he continued his commercial real estate practice.

Darrell has four adult children with his wife Cathleen.
