Michael Curto was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and was raised primarily in Central Florida. He received his Bachelor of Arts with high honors from Rollins College. He obtained his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University and his LLM from Tulane School of Law. Upon graduating, Michael became a member of the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. As an active duty attorney and reservist, he rose to the rank of Commander. He is a former Assistant State Attorney for Orange County where he prosecuted all criminal cases. Michael practiced as a sole practitioner for years in all general law areas.
