Bart Valdes Volunteers as Part of Another Successful Great Bay Scallop Search
Bart Valdes once again volunteered as a boat captain for the 25th Annual Great Bay Scallop Search. Bart and his crew participated in a scientific search of selected sites within Boca Ciega and Lower Tampa Bay for bay scallops. The goal of the event is to monitor and document the health and status of the bay scallop population as a measure of the water quality in Tampa Bay. Read More »
Partner Jason Breslin Donates Fun Chairs to Local Elementary School
Jason Breslin, Partner in the Orlando office recently donated new exercise chairs to Timber Lakes Elementary School’s Kindergarten class. Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Winokur asked to raise these funds in part of her project “Wobble While You Work.” The new chairs allow these high energy kindergarteners to release their energy when needed so they can focus on their task at hand. Warnings to Property Owners
Florida landowners owe two distinct duties to individuals that enter their property: a duty to ensure that the premises are reasonably kept safe or maintained, as well as a duty to warn others of any unsafe conditions that are not open and obvious. In short, if a hazard that is not immediately recognizable exists on the property, Florida landowners must warn guests about its existence.
