Bart R. Valdes Appointed Co-Chair of the Business Law Section COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Task Force

Our Partner, Bart Valdes has been named as the Co-Chair of the Business Law Section COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Task Force.  The Task Force is comprised of lawyers and judges across the State of Florida.  The mission of the Task Force is to provide education and resources to lawyers and businesses to assist in dealing with the economic impacts of the pandemic and, hopefully, speed the economic recovery.   The Task Force will provide continuing legal education classes and whitepapers on various topics such as contract and business interruption issues, small business relief programs (such as the CARES Act and Mainstreet Lending Program), bankruptcy, eviction, and foreclosure related issues.
