Richard Tanner, our Tallahassee Partner, has Coached the Florida State University Law School Mock Trial Team to its First National Championship

Richard Tanner, our Tallahassee Partner, has coached the Florida State University Law School Mock Trial Team to its first national championship. Richard took the team to compete against 22 other law school teams at the California Association for Criminal Justice in San Francisco. Coach Tanner’s went undefeated in 6 straight trials, as both Prosecutors and Defense Attorneys. They defeated last year’s championship team in the Final Round to take home the overall victory. The teams are assigned a factual scenario packet from which they must prepare the trial, the witnesses, trial evidence etc. and conduct the trial before various federal and state court judges who evaluate the team’s trial performance.
